Dr Carles Bautista Rodriguez

Dr Carles Bautista attained his medical degree from the University of Barcelona Medical School. He then went on to complete a residency in paediatrics and paediatric cardiology at the Hospital Sant Joan De Deu, University of Barcelona. He also completed his master’s degree in science clinical research from the University of Barcelona Postgraduate Medical School. Dr Bautista has also completed fellowships in cardiology in Stockholm (Sweden), Tokyo (Japan) and London (UK) as well as a PhD in paediatric pathophysiology from the University of Barcelona medical school.

Dr Carles Bautista’s main area of interest is the treatment of congenital/acquired heart disease by minimally invasive procedures (cardiac catheterisation). He works as part of a team to provide a clinical service of excellence for children and adults with congenital or acquired heart disease.
