GMC reg: 4431211Matthew Bultitude is a consultant urological surgeon in London. He works at Guys' and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and sees private patients at London Bridge Hospital with outpatients in The Shard. He consults patients with general urology problems and has a special interest in the medical and surgical management of stone disease and endoscopic management of upper tract TCC. At Guy's he is part of the dedicated cystinuria clinic and he runs the patient information website www.cystinuriaUK.co.uk. Prior to taking up his full-time consultant post in 2011 he undertook an overseas fellowship at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne to further his surgical experience. Whilst at Guy's and St. Thomas' he also spent a dedicated period of time in research analysing a number of different topics in the surgical management of stone disease. He has published widely in peer reviewed journals, has edited a number of book chapters and presented at national and international meetings. He has been an invited speaker at numerous international meetings around the world. He regularly reviews articles for a number of international peer reviewed journals. He has previously been Honorary Secretary of the Urology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and was Associate Editor for the BJU International from 2011 to 2020. He is on the Editorial Board for Nature Reviews Urology and is a member of the social media and data committees of the Endourological Society. He is Editor for the latest 6th edition of the classic textbook "Browse's Introduction to the Symptoms and Signs of Surgical of Surgical Diseases". At Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, Matthew was previously lead for the stone unit and subsequently clinical lead for urology. Since 2020 he has been Clinical Director for Transplant, Renal and Urology.
