Dr Borka Ceranic

Professional profile Dr Borka Ceranic holds an MD and a Specialty Degree in Otorhinolaryngology obtained at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. She has also a Specialty Degree in Audiovestibular Medicine (Audiology and Neuro-otology), obtained in London, United Kingdom. She is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal Society of Medicine and a Member of the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians. Academic achievements:  - PhD degree in Clinical Audiology, at the University College London    - Thomas Simm Littler Prize for research in otoacoustic emissions, awarded by British Society of Audiology.

Clinical and research interests: - Main clinical work in Neuro-otology (vestibular/balance disorders/dizziness) - Longstanding interest in Meniere’s disease, Tinnitus/ Hyperacusis - Migraine-related auditory and vestibular disorders - The effects of hormones on auditory and vestibular function. - Medico-legal Expert Witness in Neuro-otology
