Mr Bidemi Alli

Mr. Bidemi Adebayo Alli completed his medical training at Oxford University, during which he was awarded a distinction and scholarship for his undergraduate dissertation.   He began his higher surgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery (2014 – 2017) and completed it in the Severn Deanery (2017 – 2021), after moving south for his family. This, however, allowed for exposure to a wider range of surgical techniques in multiple secondary and tertiary centres including Leeds General Infirmary, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bristol Children’s Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary.   He undertook a 12-month General Otorhinolaryngology Fellowship from July 2021 to June 2022 at Manukau Superclinic & Surgery Centre and Middlemore Hospital, Counties Manukau District Health Board, Auckland, New Zealand. During this time, he trained in advanced surgery of the frontal and sphenoid sinuses, excision of sinonasal tumours, endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy, open septorhinoplasty, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy and submandibular gland excision as well as sialendoscopy of the parotid and submandibular glands for obstructive salivary disease.   Since August 2022 he has been a Consultant ENT Surgeon with sub-specialist interest in Rhinology and Facial Plastics. He is currently the ENT Clinical Lead at The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.   Mr. Alli has presented research nationally and internationally and has published several academic papers.
