GMC reg: 4548720I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1998, and undertook my early training in and around London before moving to Edinburgh where I completed my Basic Surgical Training programme and the research for my MD at the Scottish Orthopaedic Research Trust into Trauma. I then moved to the highly renowned Oswestry rotation for my Higher Surgical Training programme, during which time I passed the FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedics, the Diploma of Sports and Exercise Medicine, and completed my Doctorate of Medicine. I was granted my FRSC Ed (T&O), and awarded an FRCS ad eundem for my work as British Orthopaedic Trainees Association President and our work around the implementation of the EWTD for surgical training. I went on to undertake fellowship training in Trauma, Upper Limb and Knee surgery in Kenya, Derby and London respectively. I worked at both St Mary's Hospital, Paddington and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as a locum consultant before being appointed as a substantive consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Between completing my fellowship training and starting my consultant posts, I passed out from RMA Sandhurst as a TA Medical Officer. I was subsequently deployed to Camp Bastion to work as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Role 3 hospital during Op Herrick 18 in Afghanistan. Upon my return, I took the decision to convert my commissioin from reserve to regular and returned to RMA Sandhurst to complete the Regular PQO course. Since 2015, I have been based at the Major Trauma Centre in Brighton and worked with 33 Field Hospital and 16 Medical Regiment, and have deployed to South Sudan and the Middle East in support of UN and UK operations.
