Mr Baljit Dheansa

Mr Dheansa qualified as a doctor in 1990 from King's College Hospital Medical School and specialised in surgery, passing his FRCS exam in 1994. He then specialised in plastic surgery during which he gained a research MSc in 1998. He continued in plastic surgery training and passed the specialist FRCS (Plast) exam in 2002 before becoming a plastic surgery consultant in 2003. He has trained in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has a wealth of experience in cosmetic, reconstructive and trauma procedures His NHS practice covers burns, skin cancer, scar management, trauma and general plastic surgery. His private practice is mostly cosmetic and aesthetic surgery with particular experience in breast, facial (including nose) and abdominal procedures. He has a special interest in scar treatment and burns reconstruction with specialist clinics in his NHS practice. 

I am experienced in all areas of cosmetic surgery including facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation, mastopexy (breast uplift), breast reduction, pinnaplasty (prominent ear correction), thigh lift, arm reduction (brachioplasty) and post massive weight loss surgery. I have a specialist interest in scar treatment and reconstructive surgery. I have a wide experience of skin cancer surgery and the management of skin lesions including skin lesions in children. I have a subspecialty interest in burns and burns reconstruction.
