His basic training included posts in Neurosurgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, General surgery and Cardiothoracic surgery. His 6 years of specialist training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery also took place in London with extensive experience of paediatric maxillofacial surgery, facial deformity surgery, head & neck cancer surgery, salivary gland surgery, facial trauma surgery and facial skin cancer surgery and reconstruction.  In addition, he has published a PhD thesis in Regenerative medicine and stem cell biology focusing on adipose tissue (fat cells) in relation to growing cartilage for rhinoplasty surgery (nasal surgery and reconstruction) from the prestigious Institute of Child Health at University College London (UCL). Not withstanding, he is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) and an honorary clinical lecturer.
