Diagnosis of any condition affecting children under 16 particularly amblyopia in older children. Procedures performed Squint surgery, Blocked tear ducts, Retinoblastoma surgery, Cyst surgery Assessment of children can be difficult and I work with an orthoptist who assesses vision. The entire appointment can last 2 hours as it involves two specialists. The expertise required to assess children is reflected in the fee as sometimes it can be straightforward, but at other times very difficult dependent on the co-operation of the child.
