I have been a Consultant in Pain Medicine at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, since 2006. I completed his specialist training in the Northeast of England and undertook a prestigious Instructor in Pain Management role at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA, in 2005. I am the Regional Director-at-Large of the International Neuromodulation Society for Europe, Canada, and South Africa. He is the Immediate Past President of the Neuromodulation Society of the UK & Ireland and has previously served as Vice President and Treasurer of the British Pain Society. He also contributes to quality and safety as a Patient Safety Ambassador within the Neurosciences Collaborative at South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust. A specialist in interventional pain management, Dr Gulve has developed particular expertise in neuromodulation, with a strong focus on clinical innovation.
