I’m a British-trained Consultant Neurosurgeon with specialist expertise in complex skull base and cerebrovascular surgery, alongside a broad practice in general neurosurgery and select degenerative spinal conditions. My focus is always on delivering the safest, most effective surgical care tailored to each individual and I regularly deal with the more complex end of intracranial tumours in deep seated, critical areas. I have a broad training spanning numerous centres of excellence in the UK including the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle and the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Since completing my training in 2017 I then spent 3 years obtaining advance specialist fellowship training in skull base, neurovascular and neuro-oncology surgery in St, Michaels Hospital, Toronto, Canada; St Georges Hospital, London and Charing Cross Hospital, London. Beyond the operating theatre, I am deeply committed to education, mentorship, and surgical training. I see myself as a teacher as much as a surgeon, and I thrive on developing the next generation of talent especially when I’m learning alongside them. Working with brilliant colleagues, residents, and students constantly pushes me to refine my own thinking and surgical craft. I’m also passionate about innovation in healthcare. I collaborate closely with med tech companies, engineers, and developers to explore how emerging technologies such as mixed reality and AI can shape the future of neurosurgery and medical education. When I’m not in scrubs, I’m usually on two wheels (motorcycling) or at home with my three children; both roles that keep me grounded, challenged, and endlessly inspired.
