Dr Arshia Panahloo

I qualified from St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in 1986 and became a fellow or the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. I have been a Consultant in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Medicine since 1999 at St George's Hospital Foundation Trust in London. My research interests include Cardiovascular disease in Diabetes and I completed my MD from the University of London in 1998. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St Georges University of London and am involved in teaching medical students.

My clinical interests in include general Diabetes and Endocrinology in particular thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disease. I also have an interest in calcium disorders, parathyroid diseases and polycystic ovarian disease. I have an interest in the medical management of diabetes and thyroid disorders in pregnancy and the pre-conception period.
