Mr Anthony Glackin

I am a Consultant Urologist based at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland. I am a medical graduate of UCD 1998 and a Fellow of the RCSI 2009. I hold an MD from QUB for my research into treatments for bladder cancer. I completed higher surgical training in Urology in the West Midlands UK in January 2012.

I provide general and specialist urological care based at Newry Private Clinic, Orthoderm Private Medical Clinic, Ulster Independent Clinic and Craigavon Area Hospital. I offer a comprehensive clinical assessment for urinary tract complaints. I have an interest in minimally invasive surgery for urinary tract cancers and day case urology. In the private sector I offer surgery for a wide range of indications including prostate enlargement, kidney stones, bladder cancer, male sterilisation, circumcision, hydrocoele repair and botulinum toxin for bladder overactivity.  I do not offer surgery for stress incontinence.
