I am an experienced, UK-trained paediatrician, having completed my paediatric training in London and Edinburgh, with a fellowship in Vancouver. Since 2011, I have been a practising Paediatric and Allergy Consultant at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, offering expertise across a wide range of paediatric medical and allergic conditions. I take a holistic approach to managing children with general paediatric medical conditions, reflecting my NHS practice. In addition, I offer specialist paediatric allergy opinions across a variety of allergic conditions including foods, pollens, dust, animals, drugs, insect venom reactions, asthma, eczema, hay fever and urticaria. I accept both self and GP referrals. I offer face to face appointments for initial consultations providing the opportunity to discuss medical concerns in detail, accompanied by a thorough clinical examination. Following the consultation, I send a letter to the referring GP and other health providers, which is also copied to families. Where appropriate, I can organise allergy skin prick testing, blood tests including component resolved diagnostic testing and other investigations to aid diagnosis, and can offer sublingual immunotherapy for dust and pollens. As an experienced NHS paediatrician, I maintain a high level of expertise through regular participation in acute care and conduct approximately six allergy clinics and two general paediatric clinics each week. I am an accredited specialist in paediatric allergy and a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology as well as the European Academy of Allergy and Immunology. Additionally, I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and hold several key national roles, including serving on the BSACI BRIT registry committee and as Clinical Lead for the RCPCH Invited Reviews Programme. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons and our Irish terrier.
