Ms Anita Jatan

Anita Jatan FRCS (Plast), MSc is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in London. Specialising in reconstructive surgery of the hands and skin cancer, she also treats all manner of skin and soft tissue lesions, in both adult and children. Dr Anita’s warm and friendly demeanour make her particularly sought after, especially for those considering embarking on aesthetic surgical and non-surgical rejuvenating treatments, to which she brings the highest level of qualification.  Medical Training Dr Anita is a specialist Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon with over twenty years of experience in the United Kingdom and Australia. She began her medical training at the University of Tasmania, Australia, first earning a Bachelor of Medical Science degree in 1997, following with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2000. After two years in specialist training in General Surgery, she converted her training to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. During this time, she also completed a Master of Science degree from City University London in the UK. While working in Australia, Anita developed a strong interest in skin cancer, particularly of the face and upper limb, including hands.  She also worked closely with plastic surgeons in both Sydney and Melbourne whose practice had moved to focus solely on aesthetic plastic surgery.  Returning to London once more, she pursued further subspecialty training, including a Craniofacial Fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the Skin Cancer Unit at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and completed a Diploma in Hand Surgery from the European Board of Hand Surgeons.  After sitting the Fellowship examination in Plastic Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons, England, she completed the Certificate of Eligibility to the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council in 2018.
