I completed my basic surgical training and my registrar training on the North West Thames rotation and after a sports medicine fellowship in Perth, Western Australia was appointed as a consultant orthopaedic Knee surgeon at The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust in May 2002. I presently practice out of Spire Liverpool Hospital (seeing private and NHS patients) and work on a part-time basis in the NHS dealing with complex cases and acting as a mentor. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Association of Surgery of the Knee and also an invited member of the 20/20 group which is a national group of specialist soft tissue knee surgeons. I represented England rugby at under 18 level whilst at school and continue to have a keen interest in sport particularly rugby and football.
