Mr Andrew McNaught

Professor Andrew I McNaught MD FRCOphth works as a consultant specialising in glaucoma at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT) and also holds an honorary Professor appointment at Plymouth University He is named as an author on approximately 50 papers, and has contributed to three books. He has also recently been involved in a novel glaucoma surgery training initiative using plastic simulated eyes: 'simulatedocularsurgery.com'. He is a medical advisor to the ?International Glaucoma Association?, a Trustee of the 'Gloucestershire Eye Therapy Trust' charity, and a referee for a number of journals. He was previously UKEGS chair, and organised the 2016 annual meeting in Cheltenham. Andy McNaught trained at The Royal London Hospital, St Thomas? Hospital, Moorfields Eye Hospital and St Marys Hospital (Western Eye), and also completed a MD on visual function in glaucoma at Moorfields/Institute of Ophthalmology. He undertook a clinical fellowship in glaucoma at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Infirmary, Melbourne, Australia, and also worked as a clinical researcher with the 'Glaucoma Inheritance Study in Tasmania' (GIST).
