Dr Anand Mehta

Dr Anand Mehta  is a highly experienced  Consultant Geriatrician  with a career spanning over three decades, specialising in the care of elderly patients. He currently practices at the  New Victoria Hospital in Kingston-Upon-Thames and Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon . He is available for consultations at both these sites either in person or remotely via video or telephone His medical training in Geriatric medicine, Gastroenterology, and General Internal Medicine was completed in Liverpool and at St George's Hospital in London. He is a Consultant Physician in the NHS at Croydon University Hospital (formerly Mayday Hospital) since 1996 . He also has an interest in medical education and was a Postgraduate Dean in London for 18 years. He has extensive experience in managing complex, chronic medical conditions that commonly affect older adults; such as  falls ,  balance disorders ,  blackouts ,  weight loss ,  memory loss  and  confusion . Dr Mehta has a particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of  Parkinson's disease . He notably leads a highly regarded movement disorder (Parkinson’s Disease) service in Croydon. Additionally, he provides comprehensive assessments and investigations for patients experiencing memory loss and cognitive impairments, including Alzheimer’s disease.
