He has written two text books and edited a third. He has published more than 35 research articles and has a Masters in Medical Law. He performs more than 1800 cataract procedures per year (the most in the East Midlands) and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery so he is specifically trained above and beyond other Consultants in Cataract and Premium Lens procedures.
