Miss Alison Rowlands

Miss Rowlands has been a Consultant eye surgeon for over 23 years . She has extensive experience in both cataract surgery and also in lens replacement in patients not wanting to wear glasses after using premium lenses. She is the lead neuro-ophthalmologist at Arrowe Park. This subspecialty covers all eye brain problems including those caused by stroke. She is a Glaucoma specialist and carries out both laser and surgery for glaucoma as well as management with drops. Miss Rowlands treats all squint patients. This can be with surgery, botulinum toxin or bupivicaine. She regularly sees patients with dry eye and blepharitis. She carries out laser procedures for posterior capsule pacification after lens replacement surgery and for some forms of glaucoma.
