Mr Alex Woollard

Mr Woollard is the lead plastic surgeon for facial palsy in adults and children at the Royal Free London and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He also covers complex reconstruction for defects arising from sarcoma resection at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, as well as soft tissue support for the joint reconstruction unit, spinal and joint surgery and the spinal injuries unit. Mr Woollard is the lead plastic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic London where he performs both reconstructive plastic surgery, often in conjunction with other specialties such as Orthopaedics, General, Vascular, Neuro or Cardiothoracic Surgery, as well as rejuvenative aesthetic surgery (breast, trunk, bariatric, face). He cofounded Relimb with Mr Kang which is the only specialist one-stop service for those with chronic polytrauma in the UK. Relimb has a focused interest in amputee reconstruction using TMR and osseointegration.
