Dr Ajeeth Baburajan

Dr Ajeeth Baburajan has been a consultant in pain medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2021 and is the department’s clinical lead. Holding medical and specialist qualifications including MBBS, MD, FRCA, FFPMRCA, and Diploma in Pain Medicine, Dr Baburajan combines extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach. He is a member of the International Division of the Interventional Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), and a recognised instructor on international courses for spinal interventions reflecting his dedication to advancing best practice in interventional pain management. Dr Baburajan is actively involved in national and international pain medicine communities. He serves on the International Board of the Spine Intervention Society (USA), is an editorial board member of the Interventional Spine Journal, and contributes to the Interventional Pain Special Interest Group of the British Pain Society.

He specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex pain conditions, offering personalised, evidence-based care to patients across London and South East of England. His particular area of expertise is interventional spine pain, where he uses minimally invasive techniques to both diagnose and treat spinal pain. Dr Baburajan is committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve their quality of life through a holistic and scientifically grounded approach.
