Dr Aimee Brame

Dr Aimee Brame is a Consultant Physician who has completed specialist training in Respiratory, General Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. She currently practises at Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, London. Dr Brame is happy to review and advise on all aspects of general medicine and respiratory medicine and has considerable experience in investigating causes of breathlessness. She has extensive expertise in managing acute, chronic and Long COVID and provides a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan, with excellent feedback and results. Dr Brame was awarded her Medical degree by the University of Birmingham and undertook postgraduate training in Respiratory and General Medicine in the North West Thames region. She completed Intensive Care training in the London deanery and holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine. Dr Brame has a PhD in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics from the University of Cambridge and is currently involved in several clinical studies investigating changes in haemodynamics in a range of clinical conditions. She has authored several book chapters and published original papers and abstracts. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, a fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College, London.  Dr Brame was the General Medical Advisor for the BBC2 television series Diagnosis Detectives and regularly writes health related articles for the mainstream media.
