Professor Aenone Harper-Machin

Mrs Harper-Machin is a Fellowship-trained plastic surgeon and Honourary Senior Lecturer working in one of the busiest specialist plastic surgery departments in Europe. Based at Whiston Hospital she is also the Chair of the regional Skin Cancer Specialist MDT for the Cheshire & Merseyside region (which also covers north Wales and the Isle of Man). She graduated with an Honours Degree from the University of Liverpool and undertook her post-graduate training at centres including Bristol, Yorkshire, south Wales, Manchester & Merseyside. She completed a specialty fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the University of Toronto, Canada - primarily based at the world-renowned Princess Margaret Cancer Center.  Mrs Harper-Machin is published in the academic literature, with particular interest in difficult breast wounds. She has lectured throughout the world and has been adopted as a key advisor to the facial reconstruction society due to her expert knowledge in this field, and is the specialty lead for plastic surgery at the University of Liverpool. She recently opened her own exclusive private practice in the beautiful & historic City of Chester - The Grange Clinic.
