Dr. Abraham Neduvamkunnil Consultant Paediatrician in Spire Nottingham and Spire Leicester Hospitals Dr. Abraham Neduvamkunnil is a highly respected and experienced Consultant Paediatrician, offering compassionate care for children and their families in Nottingham and Leicester. With30 years of experience and dedication, he has built a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and treating a wide range of paediatric conditions, ensuring every child receives personalised, high-quality medical attention. His approach is centred on building trust with both children and parents, ensuring all concerns are heard and addressed with the utmost care. Dr. Neduvamkunnil stays up to date with the latest medical advancements to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr Abraham graduated in medicine from Ambedkar University in Maharashtra, India. He completed his specialty training in paediatrics in India, receiving the National Merit Scholarship from the Indian government. He then worked in Oman, where he received the Appreciation Award for excellence in Paediatrics from the Ministry of Health, Oman. Dr Abraham has worked as a paediatrician and educator in the UK for over 18 years. Since 2013 he has been a Consultant Paediatrician at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he sees children from 0-18 years of age with a wide range of problems, including abdominal pain, childhood allergies, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, chronic fatigue and tiredness. I support children with common concerns such as colic, reflux, constipation, soiling, diarrhoea and feeding difficulties, including food intolerances and nutrition-related issues affecting growth and development. My interests also include coughs, colds and recurrent infections, headaches and migraines, developmental and neurological conditions including paediatric epilepsy, as well as newborn checks and early infancy concerns. I have experience advising on positional skull deformity, sleep and psychological difficulties, vaccination advice, and continence issues including UTIs and day and night time bedwetting. I am the educational supervisor for paediatric trainees at Nottingham University and serves as a panel member in their selection process. I am also an examiner for postgraduate paediatric trainees and international medical graduates. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr Abraham is the clinical audit lead for paediatrics and serves on the governance committee at Nottingham University Hospital.
