Mr Aadil A Khan

Mr Khan read medicine at Brasenose College, Oxford before completing his specialist training in Plastic surgery in the London Deanery. He holds a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard University and a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research, London. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was admitted onto the GMC’s specialist register for Plastic surgery in 2018. He is a member of both the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal Marsden Hospital where specialises in breast reconstruction, lymphoedema and reconstruction after cancer surgery. Mr Khan has completed formal fellowship training in both  reconstructive  and  aesthetic surgery. He completed fellowships in reconstructive microsurgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital and The Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. His specialist interest is in breast reconstruction and lymphoedema surgery, but he is experienced in performing reconstructions across a range of cancer types such as skin cancers, sarcoma and thoracic cancers. Mr Khan maintains a strong academic practice and is an honorary associate faculty member at The Institute of Cancer Research, London. His research interests include breast implant capsule biology (including capsular contracture and breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL)) and the clinical evaluation of surgery for lymphoedema.
