Sharing reflections on the past few months, PHIN's Chief Executive, Ian Gargan, sends his season's greetings in this message.
As we begin the festive period, I hope you will be able to gather with your family and friends to celebrate. Hopefully, you will also be able to take the opportunity to rest, physically and mentally, and reflect on the past year. I share a few of my reflections below:
Supporting our stakeholders
Since becoming PHIN’s Chief Executive in September, I've met many of our members and stakeholders and I will continue to get out and meet more in the coming year, as our team works to further strengthen our support for you.
Serving patients
Together we will forge a gold standard in private healthcare data in the UK through 2023 and beyond, and serve patients by helping them better understand private healthcare and able to make better choices.
Delivering the CMA Order
A first for me this week was our AGM, and together with the Board and our Members, I was excited to share our achievements this year as well as our ambitions for 2023. If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to read our new annual report, which details just how far we have come as an organisation.
As we reflect on the year, I speak for the board and executive team when I say that we are confident that working closely with the sector next year we will continue on the road to delivering the sector-wide strategy agreed in the summer.
