We have seen huge progress by independent healthcare providers in complying with their obligations to submit data to PHIN. However, there remain some providers who are yet to do so and the lack of data means patients currently don’t have access to the information that informs their choices when considering private treatment.

Therefore, as part of its escalation process, the CMA has today published letters naming two organisations which are not fully compliant.

We have already begun working with the two providers who have responded positively to ensure that the required data will now be submitted.

We are keen to help every provider to meet their obligations under the CMA Order and appeal to any organisation that needs help in submitting data for publication to contact us.
