The hospital profile pages on our website contain information about a series of patient safety incident reporting measures for hospital inpatients.

This includes unplanned transfers, infection rates, and mortalities (known by the health service as adverse events).

While thankfully these events are rare, and can't give you a complete picture of patient care, quality of care and patient safety levels, you can use them in follow up conversations with your consultant and healthcare provider where you can get further information.

They are also recorded by healthcare professionals in incident reporting systems to help identify contributing factors, and support risk management and quality improvements.
