How data is collected

PHIN works with over 600 hospitals and more than 12,000 surgical consultants, as well as anaesthetists and consultant physicians who offer private healthcare services in the UK. The data we collect includes how many patients were treated in their facilities, how long patients stayed in hospital before being discharged, and whether there were any safety issues or incidents.
