GMC reg: 7033504Presently I am working as Permanent Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with Special Interest in Lower Limb Arthroplasty, in Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth UK. Before taking up this challenging job I was working as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon and Senior Lecturer in King Hamad University Hospital, Bahrain which is affiliated with RCSI Bahrain. I am Irish National born in Pakistan. Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland since 1998. I am registered with; - The General Medical Council UK. (Reg. no: 7033504) on the “Specialist Division”. - SCFHS Saudi Arabia. (Reg. no: 18-R-M-0031467 as a Consultant. - The Medical Council Ireland (Reg. no: 020440) on the “Specialist Division ”. - The NHRA Bahrain (License Number - 11018993). - The PMDC Pakistan (Reg. no: 5779-N) on the “Specialist Division”. After MBBS (1990) and FRCSI (1998), I successfully completed the “Senior Specialist Registrar Training Program” conducted by The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) from 2001 to 2005. The Continuum of Training is an approved program by RCSI in conjunction with the Irish Institute of Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery (IITOS). Passed Intercollegiate Specialty Board Examination “FRCS-Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery” in the year 2007 . The Exam is conducted by all 4 Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Ireland and UK. O ver all experience in Orthopaedic Surgery is 26 years. As Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 15 years. Besides General Orthopaedic surgery, I have special interest in Lower Limb Joint Arthroplasty. I am experienced in Adult and Paediatrics Orthopaedic trauma . I keep myself updated with recent advances and literature. I am keen to teach, learn and to do research, and have few publications.
