I studied Medicine at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. After graduation I worked in Newcastle upon Tyne, the Central Coast in Australia, Middlesbrough, and Northumberland before returning home to complete my specialist orthopaedic training in the West of Scotland. I also undertook fellowships at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and the Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. I am currently based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital.

I am a Consultant in Orthopaedics specialising in musculoskeletal oncology, hip and knee replacement surgery, osseointegration and trauma. I am keen to see and assess a wide range of clients including those with bone and soft tissue lumps (both benign and malignant), hip or knee replacements, arthritis, fractures, soft tissue injuries and amputations. I offer robotic assisted or conventional hip and knee replacements dependent on patient preference after a detailed discussion weighing up the benefits of each method.
