Mr Rohit Maheshwari has been the Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon in Golden Jubilee University National Hospital for nearly a decade, having performed over 2000 hip and knee replacements. Mr Maheshwari is a fellowship-trained hip and knee specialist. His principle subspecialty within the field of orthopaedics is total hip and knee replacement surgery, with a specific interest in robotic assisted joint replacement surgery. He has a busy NHS practice where he treats both patients with hip and knee arthritis and those requiring complex joint replacement surgeries using an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programme. He has additionally been trained to perform knee replacement surgery using the MAKO & ROSA robot. Mr Maheshwari has more than dozen peer reviewed publications to his name.
