GMC reg: 2395133I trained at St Bartholomews hospital qualifying in 1977 with Honours distinction in the MB.BS finals. I completed my MD thesis under Professor Michael Besser in 1987 and was appointed senior lecturer in Endocrinology, diabetes and general medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in 1991. I have published over 400 original papers, reviews and chapters in books, supervised 14 PHD students and 3 MD students and was awarded a chair in Endocrinology in 2002 at UCL. I became director of the center for neuroendocrinology at UCL in 1997. My academic interests have been in the area of male infertility due to Hypogonadotrophic Hypogonadism. I am a fellow of the association of physicians and elected to the FRCP in 1993. I am semi fluent in Russian, Arabic, Italian, German and fluent in French and Spanish. I have been a visiting physician to the Middle East for over two decades.

I have a wide experience of managing general Endocrine disorders including Neuroendocrinology. I am the senior Endocrinologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery where I look after patients with complex Neuroendocrine disorders.
