Ms Jayshree Menon

Miss Jayshree Menon is an Ophthalmology Consultant at the Woodland Hospital and Kettering General Hospital where she has been practicing for the last 16 years.She trained in the West Midlands at the Birmingham and Midlands Eye Centre and at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield as a registrar gaining a thorough grounding in Ophthalmology and then pursued subspecialty training in Oculoplastics and Medical Retina. She completed two fellowships in Oculoplastics at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham and Birmingham Midland Eye Centre. She also completed subspecialty training in Medical Retina at Birmingham. She is also the Lead Clinician for Ophthalmology at Kettering General Hospital, Consultant Appraiser and Educational and Clinical Supervisor for Ophthalmology trainees in the region. Professional training in Ophthalmology. West Midlands, Ophthalmology Registrar Training (1999-2004), Medical Retina Fellowship (Birmingham-2004), Oculoplastics Fellowships (Nottingham-2005: Birmingham-2006). Professional Memberships: General Medical Council Royal College of Ophthalmologists Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is an accredited member of the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society. She hosts the Annual Kettering Eye Meeting, a nationally recognised training event for Ophthalmologists which she initiated in 2010 She is the President-Elect for the Midland Ophthalmological Society (MOS).
