Ms Charlotte Kallaway

Charlotte studied Medicine at the University of Cambridge followed by Imperial College London and qualified in 2005. She completed higher surgical training in general surgery with a specialist interest in oncoplastic breast surgery in the Severn Deanery. She went on to complete a 1-year fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital to refine her oncoplastic skills. She started her NHS consultant post at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2021. Within her training Charlotte also gained an MSc in research looking at a novel way of intraoperative lymph node assessment in breast cancer surgery. She has publications on this as well as other areas related to breast cancer management. Charlotte has expertise in managing both benign and malignant breast disease. She uses her reconstructive skills and knowledge to provide a good cosmesis for patients whilst being uncompromising on the safe, effective and up to date management of breast cancer. Charlotte offers oncoplastic breast conservation as well as immediate and delayed breast reconstruction following mastectomy. She is also able to provide consultation on breast reduction surgery.
