Ms Angeles Espeso

Ms. Angeles Espeso mainly works privately at Kings Park Hospital-Stirling and Ross Hall Hospital-Glasgow. In addition, she is currently a Medical Appraiser at the Borders General Hospital. She has worked as a Locum Ear, Nose and Throat ENT consultant surgeon at Tayside NHS Trust and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy when relocated to Scotland in April 2019 with her family. She has previously worked as an ENT consultant and Clinical Lead in Colchester General Hospital in Essex. Ms Espeso completed a Paediatric ENT Fellowship in Birmingham Children's Hospital after obtaining her completion specialist training in ENT in the South West of England and passed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Examination in Oto-Rhino Laryngology  Head & Neck Surgery FRCS ORL- HNS. She has been an Honorary Lecture in Swansea University in Wales since 2003. She is an Examiner of the Royal College of Surgeons for the FRCS ORL- HNS, MRCS-ENT and University of Edinburgh Medical School. She has been the organiser of an International Paediatric Airway Course of the last 6 years. And she has been faculty in multiple ENT related courses.  Her published scientific articles are available via  Linked  ln Research, Academia. She is the co-author of ENT Key topics. Ms Espeso is affiliated with ENTUK, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Medical Protection Society.

Her subspecialty interests are: 1. Otology: recurrent ear infections (medical and surgical management with myringotomy and grommet insertion), perforated ear drum/tympanic membrane- ear drum repair- myringotomy/tympanoplasty Pinnaplasty hearing loss, dizziness, tinnitus 2. ENT paediatrics-recurrent tonsillitis (medical and surgical management- tonsillectomy), glue ear (medical and surgical management with myringotomy and grommet insertion), hearing loss, breathing difficulties/laryngomalacia, tongue tie, blocked nose, large adenoids (medical and surgical management with adenoidectomy) 3. Adult chronic rhinosinusitis, septoplasty not septorhinoplasty, sinus surgery (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery-FESS), nasal polypectomy 4. Head & neck skin lesions removal and facial cosmetics BOTOX and Dermal fillers 5. Treatment of migraine with botox.
