Mr Vito Romano is a Consultant ophthalmology surgeon, Lead of Cataract Service, Deputy Director of Clinical Eye Research Centre at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and has a honorary position as Senior Clinical Lecturer at The Department of Eye and Vision Science, The University of Liverpool. Mr Romano has specific expertise in managing diseases of the front of the eye: cornea and external eye diseases, cataract and refractive. Mr Romano offers cataract surgery, yag laser, peripheral iridotomy and refractive cataract surgery using multifocal implants. Mr Vito Romano has completed fellowships at both Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and The Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Professional memberships: GMC specialist register in Ophthalmology, European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), European Society of Cornea (EUcornea), Italian Society of Ophthalmology (SOI), Bowman Corneal Club UK.
