Mr Sushrut Kulkarni

Mr Kulkarni was appointed as a Consultant in Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery at the Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust in June 2003.  He qualified in Bombay, India and achieved the degree of Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics from Bombay University in 1994.  He completed his training in the UK in Nottingham, Derby and Bournemouth and passed the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examination in 1999.  He completed his Knee Fellowship in Derby & Nottingham.  His special interests are Knee ligament injuries and lower limb arthroplasty including knee revisions. He is the Medical Director for Advanced Trauma Life Support Courses and regularly teaches on AO Trauma Courses. He has been the Chair of the Medical Staff Committee at Sherwood Forest Hospitals and the Service Director for the department of Trauma & Orthopaedics. He is currently the Chair of the Resuscitation Advisory Group.
