Mr Siva Prasad Sirikonda

I have been working in UK since 1995. I have trained as higher surgical trainee in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Merseyside. I have passed Mch (Orth) Liverpool in 2002. I have passed FRCS(Tr & Orth) in 2003 and successfully completed CCST in trauma and Orthopaedics in 2003. I have started as Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in adult foot and Ankle surgery  at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals in 2003. I have been providing the specialist care in this tertiary referral centre. The Trust has merged with University Hospital Aintree to form a Liverpool University Foundation trust, which also provides Major trauma services in Merseyside. I have a successful practice both in NHS and Private sector providing specialist care for adult Foot and ankle conditions including complex surgical procedures. I have produced many publications including on topics of Hallux Valgus, hallux Rigidus, Metatarsophalangeal replacements, Chronic compartment syndrome, midfoot fusion. I have also participated in national studies such as UK heel fracture trial, PATH1, PATH2 trials. I have been teaching in Wrightington Mch(Orth) course since 2008. I have organised Mock exam day for the registrars in Merseyside in preparation for FRCS (Tr& Orth) examination.

Adult Foot and ankle surgery including Hallux Valgus, Hallux Rigidus, Morton's Neuroma, Metatarsalgia, Hammer toe deformity, Midfoot arthritis, Tendinopathies, Flat foot deformity, Cavus deformity, Ankle arthritis, Ankle arthroscopy and diabetic Foot  conditions.
