Mr Satyajit Naique has an extensive experience of Lower Limb surgery and Trauma. On the Elective side, he specializes in arthroplasty of the hip and knee (including partial replacement). He is proficient in the use of robotic surgery for the knee, using the CORI- stat of the art robotic platform-this is an image free system, that allows exceptional fine-tuning, component positioning with ultimate accuracy, that allows bone preserving and soft tissue balancing surgery.This improved outcomes, decreases pain and length of stay and leads to a speedier recovery.  He also undertakes knee arthroscopy and Foot and ankle surgery. He uses the Enhanced Recovery Pathway for all his joint replacements, causing minimal patient discomfort and promoting early recovery. Mr Naique is a highly accomplished Trauma surgeon with a special expertise and interest in complex fractures and Open Injuries. He is proficient in the use of Ilizarov Frames for the treatment of limb deformities and ununited fractures. He undertakes surgery for limb deformity correction, limb lengthening, nonunion and infections. Much of this experience has been gained in the treatment of infected and neglected fractures in India, where he worked extensively at a leading Tertiary Care Hospital. He is one of the first Orthopaedic Surgeons in the world to successfully use the TL -Hex Frames (3rd generation deformity correction devices) and is involved in actively developing the system further. He is one of the leading specialist for Management of Open Fractures and a principal surgeon of world famous Ortho-plastics Team at Imperial College NHS Trust, London.
