Mr Rajeev Bansal

Mr Bansal is an experienced shoulder and elbow surgeon. He completed his fellowships in trauma surgery from St Mary's Hospital, London and Shoulder Surgery from Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He has been working as full time consultant since 2011, and is in his present job as shoulder specialist at Russells Hospital, Dudley since 2015. He is well recognised and established in the region, and provides high level of care based on individual patient needs and preferences.

His special areas of interest are sports injuries, dislocations, rotator cuff tears and arthritis of these joints. He specialises in keyhole surgery for shoulder and elbow joints. He regularly performs shoulder replacement surgeries and pioneered patient specific shoulder replacements in the unit, which has helped patients with advanced shoulder arthritis problems. He has keen interest in upper limb fracture management too.
