Mr Priyamal Silva

Priy graduated from Medical school in 1999. He undertook his basic surgical training in Leicester where he developed an interest in ENT surgery. He then went to Manchester and completed his higher surgical training, working with a number of leaders in the field of ENT surgery. He subsequently undertook a 2 year period of dedicated research into Head & Neck Cancer at the renowned Christie Cancer Hospital. Following competitive national appointment he was subsequently awarded a two-year fellowship in head and neck surgery in Oxford working within maxillofacial and ENT surgery. He then travelled to Australia and gained further international fellowship experience and training at the prestigious head and neck surgical unit in Brisbane. Priy was appointed as an ENT Consultant in Oxford in 2012. He is Chair of the Regional Head and Neck Cancer Network covering the Thames Valley area. He is also Governance Lead for ENT.
