Mr Peter Hughes

I am a fellowship trained surgeon having spent a year working with Professor Sonnabend in Sydney, Australia. I have since developed a special interest in shoulder surgery. I have been a member of the British Shoulder and Elbow Committee Research Sub-committee. I am past President and former Secretary of the North West Upper Limb Group. I am an acting Open Championship Medical Officer and as such have developed a special interest in treating golfers.

I am an upper limb surgeon specialising in the treatment of shoulder and elbow complaints. I have a special interest in the use of arthroscopy and joint replacements to treat patients.
