Mr Paul Wilson

Plastic Surgeon Mr Paul Wilson grew up in Yorkshire before completing degrees in both Medicine and Dental Surgery from the Universities of Leicester and Liverpool respectively. He initially trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was made a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons. Paul went on to train in General Surgery, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000. He then went on to specialise in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery completing his Higher Surgical Training in the Southwest Region. Paul was appointed Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol in 2010. Within the NHS he was the lead surgeon for sarcoma surgery, in particular reconstruction following cancer. He was also a specialist head and neck surgeon with expertise in nasal reconstruction, oculoplastic surgery and Facial palsy.  Paul retired from the NHS in 2022. Mr Wilson is a full member of British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), the British Rhinoplasty Society and the Rhinoplasty Society for Europe (RSE). He is on the GMC’s specialist register for Plastic Surgery.
