GMC reg: 6146799I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in cataract surgery and medical retina at Addenbrookes' hosptial, Cambridge. I undertook advanced Fellowship training in cataract surgery, retinal disease and uveitis at St James’s hospital, Addenbrooke’s and Moorfields Eye Hospital. I led the medical retina service at Peterborough hospital for three years and then moved to Cambridge where I lead medical retina services, intravitreal injection and adult genetic retinal disease services at Cambridge University hospital. I perform high volume, small incision cataract surgery with standard and premium lenses and have extensive experience operating on patients with underlying retinal diseases. I care for patients with age-related macula degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusion, inherited retinal disorders and other general retinal conditions using the most up-to-date treatments. I regularly perform intravitreal injections (Lucentis / Eylea / Avastin / Ozurdex / Illuvien) and laser treatment.
