Mr Davda is a double fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in all aspects of foot and ankle disorders. He is a Consultant at Wycombe General and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals, both of which are part of the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust. His private practice is based at the BMI Chiltern and Shelburne Hospitals, Buckinghamshire, and HCA Wellington Elstree Mr Davda trained on the North West Thames Orthopaedic Programme and was based primarily at St. Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals, working in foot and ankle surgery, as well as lower limb reconstruction. He gained further experience in treating complex foot and ankle conditions at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, further developing his skills in foot and ankle reconstruction on fellowship in Windsor, The Royal Surrey County and Frimley Hospitals, in addition to a year at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford.Mr Davda has a broad foot and ankle practice; seeing patients with various conditions including arthritis, sports injuries, diabetic feet, childhood conditions and all aspects of trauma. Mr Davda has also published in high impact Orthopaedic journals and presented at international meetings throughout his career. He successfuly completed a full time postgraduate thesis at Imperial College in computer assisted Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a keen teacher and regularly lectures, training surgeons on the consultant FRCS exam courses, as well as foot and ankle society seminars. He is an undergraduate tutor and honorary senior lecturer to medical students at both Oxford University and the University of Buckingham. Mr Davda is a member of a regional group of foot and ankle surgeons that meet regularly to discuss complex and difficult cases, ensuring the best possible opinions regarding options in treatment and management can be sought. He maintains a high level of continuing professional development by regularly attendance of international meetings and seminars, aswell as the latest literature, inorder to provide an evidence based practice.
