GMC reg: 4588278Mr Khalid Canna graduated in 1986 and worked as a junior Doctor and subsequently research fellow in Iraq. His higher surgical training and colorectal subspecialisation was in the West of Scotland region where his advanced laparoscopic skills were further developed working for a year at the National Laparoscopic Training Unit in Glasgow. Mr Canna has special interest in surgery for gall bladder disease, abdominal wall hernias including inguinal and incisional hernias and all colorectal disease especially inflammatory bowel disease, cancers and anal conditions such as treatment of haemorrhoids. She also performs upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. Mr Canna has published and delivered presentations nationally and internationally and has been an instructor on national courses teaching advance techniques in laparoscopic bowel surgery.
