Where necessary I will use 3D computer planning and custom implants in addition to cutting edge care using stem cells and platelet rich plasma. ? My research interest lies in improving surgical and quality of life outcomes. ?My aim is to provide enhanced recovery by adopting approaches that improve the whole patient journey from pre-operative assessment to post-operative rehabilitation. I am currently collaborating with the National institute for Health Research on Patient related outcome measures. I have published and presented my research work in Europe and the USA. ? I am passionate about my role as the Director of medical Education and place a strong emphasis on postgraduate orthopaedic training. I lecture on a number of orthopaedic courses and am an author reviewer for a number of prestigious journals. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic association, the British Hip society, the American academy of orthopaedic surgeons and the AO alumni.
