Mr David Machin

Mr Machin is the Clinical Director of Orthopaedics, joint Lead for trauma and Associate Director of Foundation Training at the Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Machin concluded his orthopaedic training in an internationally recognised higher surgical training fellowship at Wirral University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, during this fellowship he received advanced training in the management of complex elective, revision and trauma foot and ankle conditions.Prior to this he completed six years of specialist orthopaedic training in the Mersey Deanery, rotating through many of the local hospitals, including the regional trauma centres. This followed on from his core surgical training after qualifying with Honours from The University of Liverpool School of Medicine in 2003.

Mr Machin is a trauma & orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in foot & ankle surgery. His NHS practice is at Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Leighton Hospital). He also practices at the South Cheshire private hospital, The Yale private hospital and consults in Abergele.
