Mr Chris Adams

My orthopaedic training completed with spine fellowships both in Edinburgh and Nottingham. I started my consultant career at the Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery, Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham in February 2004. In October 2006 I was asked to return to the Scottish National Spine Deformity Service where I continue my NHS practice. I continue to enjoy working with people to help them from infants through to retired adults with the full range of spine conditions. Beyond front line clinical care there is a great sense of friendship and fellowship among all clinicians treating spine conditions in Scotland, and beyond. I enjoy teaching at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and helping with the informal Scottish Spine Surgeons group. Aside from clinical practice I provide an expert medicolegal practice for Courts in Scotland and England. This includes expert reports for both personal injury and medical negligence in spinal accidents and incidents.
